JOB TITLE

Head of Marketing and Business Development

As part of Joy’s leadership team, you will increase Joy’s local and global visibility, build relationships, and develop an ecosystem that will lead to quality deal-flow and adequate support to our portfolio. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will work with the Joy team to define and implement Joy’s marketing strategy and increase Joy’s visibility in the market
  • You will organize various events and programs fostering an interdisciplinary innovation community and positioning Joy as a leader in our space
  • You will develop relationships with relevant partners to foster innovation, generate quality deal flow, and support and promote our portfolio
  • You will emphasize Joy’s identity by content creation (blogs, articles, and newsletters) and digital presence
  • You will work with Joy’s portfolio companies to help them succeed in multiple areas, both at the strategic level and hands-on tactical support.

Your background

  • Substantial experience in global strategic marketing communication
  • Successful business development background
  • Experience in start-ups
  • Familiarity with the start-up and investor ecosystems
  • Having a VC and entrepreneur network is a plus
  • Familiarity with the consumer products industry is a plus

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • English-mother tongue level is a must
  • Great interpersonal and teamwork capabilities
  • “Rolled up sleeves” approach, high initiative and motivation
